What is the difference between core-spun yarn and covered yarn?

Zhuji Yinchao Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd.
First, the core yarn and outsourcing materials are different. Take the spandex core-covered yarn and spandex covered yarn as an example.
1. Core-spun yarn generally takes synthetic fiber filament with good strength and elasticity as the core yarn, and outsources cotton, wool, viscose fiber and other short fibers. For example, spandex core yarn is spandex wrapped with short fiber, with spandex as the core, outsourcing non-elastic staple fiber, the core wire will not be exposed when stretched.
2, covered yarn is filament or staple fiber as yarn core, outsourcing another filament or staple fiber yarn strip. The outer yarn covers the core yarn in a spiral manner. For example, spandex coated yarn is an elastic yarn formed by wrapping the extended spandex with a filament of chemical fiber, which is formed by wrapping the extended spandex with a spiral shape of non-elastic staple fiber or filament. In the tensioning state, there is a phenomenon of core exposure.
Two, the production of equipment is different.
1. Core-spun yarn is made on the spinning frame.
2. Staple fiber covered yarn is made on the spinning + double twist machine, while long fiber covered yarn is made on the long fiber double twist machine.
